Consent Decision-Making to Hold Space for Difference, Innovation, and Flow
Join Cecile Green and Rebecca Fisher-McGinty for a virtual workshop to learn collective tools for meaningfully participatory, effective, and innovative decision-making.
Decision-making is an important part of being in community together. It’s also one of the most challenging things to get right. Communities often need more than voting to make meaningfully participatory, effective, and innovative decisions. But alternatives to voting can mean getting stuck in endless deliberation. In this workshop, you will receive collective decision-making tools that use the power of your intentional community members for aligning decisions with speed and clarity.
Key Workshop Outcomes
- Learn a step-by-step collective decision-making process you can start using immediately
- Understand how to hold your team through the sometimes challenging experience of working with differing opinions
- Practice frameworks you can use for a participatory flow
- Gain insight on key roles in collective decision-making

I am constantly impressed by the down-to-earth practicality of the FIC workshops combined with the philosophical questions that are so vital for us to explore. I’m grateful for the excellent planning and delivery of the workshops by skilled and inclusive presenters, who create a space that is both welcoming and invites participants to challenge existing ideas and world views. Well done and thank you FIC. – Claire Ogden
