How do we remain socially connected while physically distant? How do we transform our existing neighborhoods into the villages that we so desperately need?
Many of us were just beginning to build community into our lives as COVID-19 forced us into isolation – joining and building intentional communities, dreaming of buying land to activate with intention, and looking for ways to infuse our neighborhoods with principles of communal living. Together, we will discover how we can build and sustain a sense of community where we are, even as circumstances draw us apart.
f
In this highly interactive workshop, we will:
- Identify our own values and the guiding principles behind our desire to live more communally
- Explore how we translate these principles into community building strategies
- Connect with other community builders in an experience of idea generation and problem-solving
- Leave with a personalized plan for fostering community in our existing neighborhoods, networks and intentional communities
