Do you want to form a collective house in Tucson? Something like a Catholic Worker House without the Roman Catholicism, or a Zen Center without robes and incense. My vision is of a small group of people committed to living in Tucson long-term and to developing as generous, ethical, engaged and forthright individuals supporting an inclusive community.
My interests include meditation; volunteering for refugee, migrant and border-related organizations; volunteering at Tucson’s agricultural heritage farm, Mission Garden; hiking, Quakerism; and home repair/improvement, including rain harvesting and graywater reuse. I am a cis-gendered white woman in my early 60s, childless, with substantial savings to offer as a down-payment if we find suitable property to purchase.
If interested, please email maryjoyrenfro@gmail.com with “Tucson Housing Collective” in the subject line. Tell me about your interests, skills, and resources; whether you have children or pets; and how urgent is your housing need.
