Rainbow Koala Farm is a small farm and community. Our focus is sustainability and support for disabled and neurodiverse people via mutual support and interdependence. The space has room for up to a 35 foot RV, tiny house on wheels, or schoolie with access to power via a 30 AMP hook up or 120AC plug. As a member of our community you’ll have access to our shared kitchen, bathroom, laundry, composting toilets and outdoor spaces. There is no cost associated with this space, however, we do expect help with farm chores or other contributions to our community. Families are welcome.
The right person or persons have some understanding of high support and unmasked autism and an interest in climate justice. Our community is mostly disabled and LGBTQ people. All are welcome your value is not in your productivity. We work out what participating equitably in our community looks like with each individual. We are open to considering seasonal residents as well as year round, depending on how adaptable you and your rig are to New England winters.
Rainbow Koala Farm is a small community. At full capacity we have space for 4 families, and a lot of WWOOfers and campers who come and go. We currently have three large gardens and 8 goats. We also operate a small sustainable fishing operation. Our farm is close to town and residents sometimes choose to find employment nearby. For online workers, we have excellent internet.
