Gay Men Rural Community in Upstate New York

Location
Albany County, NY

We are a gay couple looking for other gay men, couples or single people, who are interested in rural living, sustainable agriculture, and raising animals humanely. We are located in New York’s Capital district, about 40 minutes from Albany and 3 hours from Brooklyn, New York, where we spend some of our time working and studying in the City. The farmhouse is located in the Helderberg Mountains, in an area that is home to several state parks, natural reserves and state forest, and where there is plenty of outdoor activities to do all year round. We are in the country, yet minutes away from the city and all that the Capital region has to offer.
Because we won’t be moving full time to the farmhouse upstate until August 2021, we are looking for people willing to move to the property and help us manage and develop while we are away for the next year. We are looking to rent part of the property or partner with the right persons, depending on whether we are a good match. Our long term vision is to create a rural community of LGBTQ+ people.
Please contact me if you’re ready to get away from the craziness of the city.
