Presenting Communities:
Cantine’s Island Cohousing
We are an established community whose members foster deep neighborly ties by sharing meals, play and the work of maintaining and bettering our community.
Old-fashioned community values come in a new form at Cantine’s Island Cohousing, where members live cooperatively and people of all ages interact naturally in this family-friendly neighborhood.
Nineteen privately-owned homes sit on over 9.5 acres of community-owned land beside the Esopus Creek within an easy walk to the Village of Saugerties, New York.
Harmony Terrace of Tampa Bay
Harmony Terrace is a new residential community near Tampa, Florida. We own nearly 5 acres of beautiful undeveloped land with a main house that will be converted to our common house, several studios, workshops, and sheds, and many towering oak trees that provide glorious shade. We have hired an architect and have completed our site and house plans. We are on a path to start construction on our new community of 26 units of different sizes as soon as the ink is dry on all the plans and contracts, which we hope will be early in 2023.
Blueberry Commons Cohousing and Farm Cooperative
We are a group of families and individuals on a journey to develop cohousing on a fully functioning farm in Powell River, BC, Canada. We share an interest in living lightly on the land, building ecologically sustainable housing and growing our own food.
While still in the planning stages, we are already building community by creating deeper connections between each other and this beautiful property some of us already call home. We envision an inclusive and diverse intentional community that will provide meaningful relationships with our neighbours, learning opportunities and connection to the land.
