This group is partnering with the Oakland Community Land Trust, POC Sustainable Housing Network, Sustainable Economies Law Center and Northern California Community Loan Fund, to put together the legal and financial pieces in place to keep this community intact. We need spaces like this to exist. We need communities of empowered people working for a better future for everyone. We need the people most impacted by society’s problems to have control over the space and resources they need to help address these problems in meaningful ways for themselves and the world.  |
