Finding Your Community
Course description
Your home and your people are out there. From ecovillages and cohousing to income-sharing communes, senior communities, spiritual communities, and tiny home villages — intentional communities of all kinds are growing worldwide.
With visits to over 100 communities under her belt, Cynthia Tina will guide you through a structured search to find and join the intentional community that’s right for you. You’ll gain clarity on your options, a realistic sense of whether community living is the right fit, and real examples from the communities Cynthia has visited, to bring the possibilities to life.
You’ll learn how to find, assess, and contact communities, how to prepare for visits, and ultimately join your ideal community. Along the way, you’ll be introduced to different community structures — including decision-making models, economic systems, and membership processes — plus a few red flags to watch out for.
